Official national import and international retail operations
Pon’s relationship with Volkswagen dates back to 1947 when Pon became Volkswagen’s first export partner.
In the Netherlands, Pon acts as the official national importer, overseeing product marketing, sales and after-sales, supporting the entire sales channel. Beyond wholesale, Pon is heavily active in retailing Volkswagen passenger vehicles through its fully owned dealer groups (such as a-Point, Pon Center, Huiskes-Kokkeler and Auto Hoogenboom) and minority stakes across the Netherlands.
Internationally, Pon represents and retails the Volkswagen brand in the United States through its luxury and performance retail arm, the indiGO Auto Group.
